Dashlet localisation

To access the My Calendar dashlet, go to your MintHCM Dashboard. It should appear there by default, but in case it has been removed you can always bring it back by clicking ACTIONS → Add Dashlets → MODULES → My Calendar → Close. After closing the window dashlet should be visible on your dashboard again.

Overview

My Calendar dashlet presents a standard calendar layout, displaying a whole week or a single day (depending on user's preferences). It provides a clear visualization of your work schedule with each type of a work schedule, such as Office Work, Remote Work or Holiday, displayed in a different color. Refer to 'My Calendar - planned daily schedule representation' screens to see every representation of a Work Schedule type. Apart from work schedule, all user's events are displayed, with each event represented by a colored block indicating its type (meetings, calls, tasks). A concise summary of each event can be viewed by hovering the mouse cursor over it, presenting essential details (see 'My Calendar Tooltip view' screen). Clicking on an event directs users to a detailed view, where comprehensive information about the event, including participants, location, and additional notes, is available. A sample, labeled reference of the dashlet's elements are presented on 'My Calendar overview' screen. Follow this description to understand each reference from attached screen:

  1. Dashlet's title bar
  2. Dashlet's management buttons
  3. Navigation arrows (allow user to quickly switch to next or previous week)
  4. Displayed date range
  5. Name of a user whose calendar view is displayed
  6. Day labels
  7. Scheduled meeting
  8. Scheduled phonecall
  9. Scheduled task
  10. Time scale

Note: The color of a work schedule differs depending on it's status (Planned / In progres / Closed).

Time management

As previously mentioned, users can manage their time directly from My Calendar dashlet. An event or a new work schedule can be quickly created by selecting some empty area on calendar's grid with a mouse. After doing so, you will be directed to Work Schedule create view but also there would be a window displayed, where you can choose to move to Calls create view, Meetings create view or to stay in the Work Schedule crate view depending on your preferences. In each case time range fields would mach the selection you've made on clendar's grid. See Calls, Meetings or Work Schedule articles for further instructions on how to create those events. You can modify existing items by simply moving them with your mouse - dragging and dropping them to another place on a calendar's grid to change planned date and/or time of it's occurance (see 'My Calendar - Event drag and drop' screen). There is also a possibility to change planned duration of an event by 'grabbing' the bottom border of a rectangle event representation and then extend or contradict it accordingly to your preferences.

Note: Features described above that allow you to modify existing items, only apply for elements which status is set to 'Planned'.
