Business Description

Documents is a module where electronic versions of documents can be stored. They can be uploaded from the subpanel Documents in other modules or created in this module. Documents can be added in modules such as:

These are also subpanels in the record detail view in the Documents module itself. There can also be added materials and documents used for marketing and commercial purposes. The system allows to set the appropriate document category from values such as: Marketing, Knowledge Base, Sales.

The range of possibilities for adding different types of documents is wide. There can be attached documents with various extensions, for example doc, xlsx, pdf or jpg. The attached file can be downloaded by all users who have access to it by clicking on the file in the File Name field.

Subsequent changes made to the document are marked with the revision number. Revisions can be added from the Document Revisions subpanel located under the detailed view of a document record. Subsequent additions of a revision change the number in the detailed view of the document.

The Document record can have various statuses: Active, Draft, FAQ, Expired, Under Review or Pending.

It is also possible to create a links between different documents and their revisions.

The system allows to specify the type of document: EULA, Mail Merge, NDA, License Agreement.
