Short Description

The description of functionalities enabling documentation collection and analysis related to terms of employment of employees

Description

Employment history is a functional area for storing employment documents and tracking employees' contracts, pay and periods of employment over time.

Documents – List View

In the Documents module you can upload files in various formats (text files, pictures, spreadsheets, PDF, etc.), for example contracts, diplomas and certificates. Documents can be attached to contracts, terms of employment and other records.

Contracts – Record View

A contract describes the agreement with an employee. It has a type (selected from a configurable list), a status (Active, Inactive, Pending), the date of signing, start and end dates, a daily working time (full time or a fraction of it) and the related period of employment. The Terms of Employment and Documents subpanels show the contract's conditions and files.

Terms of Employment – List View

Terms of Employment store the conditions of a contract for a given period: the position, start and end dates, the date of signing, gross and net salary and employer costs. When the conditions change (for example after a raise), a new record is added to the contract, so the history of pay is preserved. HR specialists and team leaders can use it to prepare for appraisals.

Periods of Employment show the total time an employee worked, resulting from their contracts.

Employees can see their own employment conditions. Access to these modules is managed by the administrator, see the Administration Guide.

Reports and dashlets

MintHCM allows you to analyze employment data and costs. See Analytics for the reporting tools.

Report with a chart – Salary Costs

A report can show, for example, remuneration costs (gross, net and employer cost) summed up by position, together with a chart. Reports are built on the Terms of Employment module. Report results can also be displayed as dashlets on the dashboard and are updated automatically.

Dashlets

Employment data is also available through dashlets, such as:

  • My Terms of Employment,
  • My Periods of Employment,
  • My Contracts,
  • My Documents,
  • Reports.
